I am absolutely satisfied! Bought a bicycle trailer to use with the scooter and even when it’s fully loaded (about 50-60Kg) it drives over 30Km/h and the motor didn’t overheat on the 10Km trip at a freaking hot summer day. Also the battery is large enough to travel longer distances (hopefully it stays that way). All in all - you get a lot of scooter for the money! Only time will tell about the longevity.

Absolutely love this scooter. It goes as fast as I need it to go without feeling too dangerous, and yet it has a nice 50 mile range. The quality is top notch, and I have already saved a bunch of gas from my car by driving this instead. Love it!

Everything is great except this few issues: 1. Battery indicator on the display never shows 100% full status. Even after 10+ hours of charging. The maximum is around 80%. What’s the reason? 2. Do you have any service provider here in Zagreb, Croatia (brakes, tires, etc…)? 3. Maximum speed is around 40, not 55 km/h. 4. Throttle would be better if it is like on motorcycles (spinning handlebar). Regards, Ante

In my eyes, the Kukirin G2 Max was the stop between the Xiaomi and professional scooters. With an affordable price, and relatively high top speed this scooter seemed like just the thing on paper. But did it hold up? Well, I have put over 300 km into it, and I have got some thoughts. First, I have to say in advance as a discalimer that everyone's needs are different and what seems not good enough to me might be just right for you. With that out of the way, here is my honest review. I would like to begin with the pros. the scooter has a good suspension. It is not the best, but far better than the average cheap scooter. Due to its robust build I would not be surprised if two people could ride it at the same time with no issues. The vehicle is pretty stable even during high speeds, which is very good. I like the tires too, they serve well. The dedicated key is really cool, one of my favourite features for sure. Offroad is pretty managable, and driving at 45km/h in the woods at night is peak e-scooter experience. Oh, and the lamp is very bright, perfect for nighttime. The vehicle has a nice grip if you fold it, easy to carry around, and the extra seat is fun to experiment with. Now, let me move on onto the next chapter of the review. When I first pressed the accelator, I was amazed how quickly it reacts, and you could alredy feel the power of the engine even though it just started. However, as I kept accelarating, the scooter seemed to gain speed slower, and slower, and eventually it stopped well below the advertised 55km/h mark. Now, that example is the metaphor of my experience with this scooter. At the first couple of days, I have taken the scooter on smaller trips to get the feel of driving it, and it was really cool and enjoyable, the 30-35 km/h speed on gear 2 seemed plenty for smaller streets. The problem started when I took it on a longer trip. I was commuting to work into the city from the suburbs. The first part was okay, however when battery levels started to drop the scooter seemed to slow down, and quickly lost that spry feel it had at full charge. Battery voltages were alredy dropping heavily after the first 10-15 kilometres, even though I weigh only 85 kg and was driving on a flat surface. I quickly realised, there is no way I am gonna be able to keep up the pace with cars. On the top of it, the turn signals were hardly visible on that sunny day. Not the best for traffic. The actual range is well below the adertised 80km. There is no way I could have gone further with it than 40km. All in all, it is an okay scooter and will get an okay rating from me. If you are looking for a relatively fast, cheap, well built scooter to flex on the Xiaomis than this might be the sccoter for you. On the other hand, if you are a commuter, or someone who looking to take their vehicle into the traffic and go far with it, you might need to pick something better.
